Ph.D. candidate Ellen Roderick will defend her dissertation “Living in the Condition of Love’s Gift”: Hans Urs von Balthasar’s Theological Anthropology of Childhood and Its Significance for the Form of Human Freedom on Monday, October 27, at 1:00 p.m., in Room 214.  Her dissertation board includes Margaret Harper McCarthy (director), Nicholas J. Healy, and Rev. Antonio López, F.S.C.B., from the Institute faculty, and Francesca Murphy of the University of Notre Dame.
