Summer Course: “Called to Love–Theology of the Body”
July 15 at 9:30 AM - July 19 at 3:00 PM
The John Paul II Institute invites you to join an intensive course on St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body as part of the Institute’s Continuing Education Program.
In the course we will examine St. John Paul II’s famous “Catechesis on Human Love” by a close reading of the text and an exploration of the philosophical and biblical sources of his powerful vision. We will also delve into supplementary texts that will aid us in understanding human love in its fullness. The aim is to see the intimate connection of this human love with its Divine source, the Trinitarian God who is Love, and how the human being, in his entirety, images Him.
The course meets Monday through Friday, July 15-19, 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., and 1:30-3:00 p.m. Class will be taught in person and offered online simultaneously.
In addition to this course, the Institute is offering a course on “Twentieth-Century Catholic Literature”. Classes will take place Monday through Friday, July 22-26, 9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., and 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Each course fee is $150. To register, please complete the online registration form. Payment can be submitted via check, cash, or credit card. To submit a credit card payment, please click here.
Registration for the course closes Friday, July 12.
