S.T.L. student Fr. Khanh Le will present a lectio coram and defend his thesis “The Nuptial Vocation in the Thought of Angelo Scola: An Anthropological-Theological Foundation for Catholic Sexual Ethics in the Contemporary Vietnamese Context” on Wednesday, April 29, at 8:00 a.m. His evaluation board includes Dr. David Crawford (director), Dr. Nicholas Healy, and Dr. Margaret McCarthy.

The lectio coram is a magisterial lecture on a specific theological issue taken up during the course of studies for the licentiate before a panel of three examiners, comprised of the thesis director and the two readers of the thesis. The lectio coram should demonstrate the candidate’s competence in theology and as a teacher.
