April 23 at 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

S.T.L. student Fr. Tyler Mentzer will present a lectio coram and defend his thesis “Mary the Immaculate Conception and Gift: John Paul II and His Marian Anthropology” on Thursday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. in McGivney Hall, Room 214. His evaluation board includes Dr. Nicholas Healy (director), Dr. David Crawford, and Dr. Jonathan Bieler.

The lectio coram is a magisterial lecture on a specific theological issue taken up during the course of studies for the licentiate before a panel of three examiners, comprised of the thesis director and the two readers of the thesis. The lectio coram should demonstrate the candidate’s competence in theology and as a teacher.

This event is open to the public.
