The house is a 5 minute walk to the Franciscan Monastery, and a 10-15 minute walk to the Brookland-CUA metro, Catholic U, JPII Institute, and the Basilica. The lease renews on September 1^st. The target move-in date for new occupants is August 1^st, though earlier arrival can absolutely be accommodated. Rent is dependent on whether there are 3 occupants ($900ish/pp) or 4 occupants ($700ish/pp) – open to exploring different options! Utilities (gas, electric, water, Wifi) run about $100 per person per month.

A Catholic homeowner of a quiet 4-bedroom house is offering a 1-large-bedroom accommodation to an active Catholic graduate student for $750/month for single occupancy. (Big enough for 2 beds double occupancy at $850/month to share.)

Hi everyone! Annie and I are looking are looking for a third female housemate to join us at this super cute house we found in College Park/Riverdale Maryland!
It has a big living room with a fireplace, separate dining room, a spacious sun porch, three bedrooms, lots of natural light and plenty of charm! The house is adjacent to a lovely walking/running trail and is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. Here are photos of the house.

Hello All! My wife, Genevieve, and I have two fully-furnished, sunny, and large bedrooms available for rent in our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in Alexandria, VA. Our house is just 2 blocks from the Huntington Metro station, and is only an 8-minute drive from the Basilica of Saint Mary in Old Town Alexandria! The huge size of the bedrooms, combined with the obscenely fast gigabit internet connection make our house an excellent place to work or study from home. Both bedrooms are upstairs and share a large, full bathroom. We will happily fully furnish both bedrooms, and we will provide a mattress, bedframe, desk, chair, and decorations free of charge. If you would like to bring your own furnishings, that is fine too. Our neighbors have been unbelievably welcoming, and the whole neighborhood really seems to look out for each other. Not to mention, the Catholic Young Adult community at the Basilica is crazy active!! After the 10AM Sunday Mass, over 50 of us gather at a house across the street for coffee, snacks, and community 🙂 Genevieve and I were blown away by the welcoming and friendly nature of the community at the Basilica, and we cannot wait to get more involved with their frequent Holy Happy Hours (which are as awesome as they sound).

Genevieve and I both graduated from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!!) with degrees in Aerospace Engineering in 2022. We would love to build up a fun community of young people who can attend Mass together and support each other. We take lots of vanlife trips, and we are huge National Parks people who love to hike, bike, and travel. Also, we love to cook, bake, and share 🙂

Street parking is available (you will need to obtain a permit from City Hall), and the nearest metro stop (PG Plaza on the Green Line) is 0.9 miles away.
