Male Tenant – Hyattsville, MD
Come live in our basement for the summer! We’re a couple in our late thirties, both of whom graduated from the Institute’s MTS (where we met!), and the male half of whom graduated from the Ph.D in 2018. We have five kids (9, 7, 4, 2, and seven months). Our home is in Hyattsville, just three miles from the Institute, in a lovely neighborhood right across the street from the vibrant St. Jerome’s parish.
The basement is finished and furnished, and it has a separate entrance. It boasts two bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom; a kitchen; and a dining room/common area. There’s also a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, which we would share. One of the bedrooms is already occupied (by a PhD candidate at the Institute), but the other room (and attendant bathroom) will be vacant for the summer. The exact timing is somewhat flexible, but it will be available from sometime in May until sometime in August. Our current tenant is male, so you, his potential basement-mate, will need to be male as well. The available bedroom is just over 200 sqft, plus a big walk-in closet. Rent is $875/month.
