Watch: Dr. Crawford on “The Metaphysics of Bostock”

VIDEO: Metaphysics of Bostock
by James Wilson Institute on October 2, 2020

On the eve of the start of the Supreme Court’s October Term 2020, the James Wilson Institute hosted a webinar with Dr. David Crawford, associate professor of moral theology and family law at the John Paul II Institute, who was instrumental in drafting an excellent amicus brief in the Bostock case. The title of the event sprang from Dr. Crawford’s luminous essay reacting to Justice Gorsuch’s opinion in Bostock. Dr. Crawford offers his views on the opinion and what the decision portends for U.S. law. Professor Hadley Arkes, the James Wilson Institute’s Director and Founder, and Dr. Crawford discuss what we can expect from other future cases on transgenderism.

Dr. David S. Crawford’s presentation begins at 10:39 in the video below.
