The Catholic Theological Institute is a small, college- level community in the South Pacific, providing intellectual formation for Catholic seminarians from 19 dioceses across Papua New Guinea (PNG), as well as several Catholic religious congregations and a small number of lay students. Available positions include:
Starting May ‘26
1 or 2 teaching positions in Philosophy. Ability to teach ESL, Anthropology, Psychology, Latin, or Catholic theology a plus. 1- or 3-year renewable contracts. Master’s degree or above required.
1 position in Canon Law (may be renewable)
Starting August ‘26
Academic Dean (3-year renewable contract, minimal teaching, maximal administrating)
Positions in Holy Scripture and Moral Theology may be available (Licentiate preferred)
