School Principal, Long Beach Catholic School (Long Island, NY)

Long Beach Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, mission-driven candidate for the position of Principal for the 2026–2027 school year.
Long Beach Catholic School serves students from Nursery through Eighth Grade. The school is a part of the Beach Catholic community, consisting of St. Ignatius Martyr, St. Mary of the Isle, and Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal parishes. We are committed to developing a classical model of Catholic education rooted in truth, beauty, and goodness.
The Catholic school principal is the spiritual and instructional leader of the school, working in close collaboration with the Pastor and parish leadership to cultivate a deeply Catholic culture while overseeing the academic, operational, and communal life of the school.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● Fostering a deeply Catholic environment that integrates faith into all aspects of school life
● Leading the development and implementation of a classical Catholic curriculum and culture
● Upholding and strengthening Catholic identity through prayer, liturgy, and sacramental life
● Ensuring academic excellence across all grade levels
● Leading, mentoring, and evaluating faculty and staff in both professional and spiritual growth
● Promoting a culture of discipline and Christian formation rooted in traditional Catholic values
● Communicating effectively with parents, faculty, parish leadership, and the broader community
● Supporting enrollment and advancement efforts through clear messaging and strong school culture
● Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school in collaboration with parish leadership
● Representing the school in public settings through media, marketing, and public relations efforts
