ABOUT BISHOP ENGLAND HIGH SCHOOL
Founded in 1915 as a ministry of the Diocese of Charleston, Bishop England High School is Charleston’s premier Catholic college preparatory school — serving over 600 students in grades 9–12 on a vibrant Daniel Island campus. We partner with parents to provide a rigorous, integrated Catholic education that forms young men and women of diverse backgrounds to embrace truth, live virtue, lead courageously and serve generously. Anchored in the Gospel, every student is known, every dignity honored, and every gift of mind, body and spirit is called forth for the glory of God and the good of the world.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Head of School is the Catholic heart and organizational backbone of Bishop England High School. Entrusted with the formation of students, the faith life of faculty and staff, and the stewardship of institutional resources, this leader provides a visible, credible witness to Christ the Teacher. Working in close collaboration with diocesan leadership, clergy, faculty, families and benefactors, the Head of School advances a shared vision of Catholic excellence to model Christian discipleship, inspire virtue and scholarship and guide the community toward its highest calling.
