Hello! We are looking for a female roommate to join us (two other roommates in 3 bed/3.5 bath) starting August 15 in Brookland, DC. The lease is for one year. Our future apartment is a 10-minute walk from CUA, Brookland Metro, Basilica, JPII Institute, and Dominican House. Our neighborhood has a Trader Joe’s, Chipotle, Starbucks, and more–all within walking distance. We are just two blocks from the Metropolitan Branch Trail (MBT), which makes for an easy commute downtown. The apartment is a newly built 4-story row house (an end unit with lots of light and a pretty view) with a covered garage. The house is spacious with two living rooms, a landing, and a deck.
Rent is ~1300 (+utilities, which are split). The room has its own bathroom.
About us: We are two practicing Catholics, one of us is in grad school, and the other works. We live together now, but our lease is expiring. We’re clean, conscientious, and respectful of shared spaces. We tend to keep a fairly quiet home and have busy schedules, but in our free time, we enjoy exploring DC, trying new coffee shops, and hosting the occasional gathering with friends. We’re hoping to create a home that’s comfortable, friendly, and enjoyable to share.
