Domestic Church Day at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine will feature a talk by Dr. Nicholas Healy and his wife Maruška Healy, entitled: “Man and Woman He Resurrected Them: The Destiny of Our Love.”
Their talk, based on Saint John Paul II’s work Theology of the Body, explores the destiny of all human love in light of the Resurrection of Christ’s Body. It sheds light on the role of the human body and creation in the spiritual life, with specific implications for the Sacramental marital relationship and practical considerations about how marriage can be informed by a spirit of reverence, joy, hope, prayer, and liturgy of the home.
