Dr. R.V. Young will present a lecture entitled “Literature Among the Ruins: The Case of Brideshead Revisited” on Wednesday, October 25, at 4 p.m. in Keane Auditorium.

Dr. Young is Professor Emeritus of Renaissance Literature at North Carolina State University. His books include: Doctrine & Devotion in Seventeenth-Century Poetry: Studies in Donne, Herbert, Crashaw, and Vaughan and Richard Crashaw and the Spanish Golden Age.

The lecture will be followed by a reception.
