Ph.D. candidate Somer Salomon will defend her dissertation “Reason as Gift: Reengaging the Onto-Theological Critique with Pope John Paul II” on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 9:30 am, in McGivney Hall Room 214.

Her dissertation board includes Dr. D.C. Schindler (director), Rev. Antonio López, and Dr. Nicholas Healy from the Institute faculty. The external grader is Dr. John Hittinger, a professor of philosophy at the University of St. Thomas.
