Building a Culture of Life in a Post-Roe World

April 24 at 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Please join the John Paul II Institute for a presentation by Jeanne Mancini on “Building a Culture of Life in a Post-Roe World” on Thursday, April 24, at 4 p.m. in Keane Auditorium.

In the nearly three years since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade, pro-life political initiatives at the state level have had both notable successes and notable failures, leaving the legal landscape on abortion with wide differences from state to state. Across all states, however, a fundamental question applies: how can our culture be transformed to one that affirms the dignity of human life and upholds families in need? In her presentation, Jeanne Mancini will address both the current pro-life public policy arena and practical ways in which each of us can contribute to building a culture of life.

Mrs. Mancini, a 2002 graduate of the Institute, served as President of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund from 2012-2025. Previously, she worked with the Family Research Council,  where she focused on issues related to the inherent dignity of the human person, including abortion, women’s health, and end-of-life issues, and for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on global health policy, as well as domestic and international health care issues.
