Professor Anderson has served as vice president of the Washington Session of the Institute since its founding in 1988, and as its dean until 1998. Since 1983 he has also taught as a visiting professor at the Institute’s session at the Pontifical Lateran University. Professor Anderson is also Supreme Knight (chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors) of the Knights of Columbus. From 1983 to 1987, he served in the executive office of President Ronald Reagan in various positions, including special assistant to the president.
