The Graduation Mass for the Class of 2016 was celebrated on Tuesday, May 10, at the Redemptor Hominis Church of the Saint John Paul II National Shrine.
Archbishop William E. Lori, Archbishop of Baltimore and Supreme Chaplain of the Knights of Columbus, was the main celebrant and homilist. The text of his homily can be read here.
The graduation address was given by Cardinal Carlo Caffarra, Archbishop Emeritus of Bologna, who was the founding president of the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family. He spoke about the mission of the Institute, as defined at its founding by St. John Paul II, and about its current task in the Church.
