Hello, and God bless you with your housing hunt! My husband and I are expecting our first baby (due June 8), we both work, and we have room available starting August 1, 2023.
Accommodation: You would have a (furnished) bedroom, a study room, your own bathroom, and your own entrance. We are hoping for 10-15 hours of childcare per week (12h on average) in exchange for room and board (ie: food!). We are open to short-term arrangements (like just one semester). We would love for you to be as knit into the family as you want, and we also understand the demands of student life and alone time.
A bit about us: We live in Hyattsville and belong to Saint Jerome’s parish (which is really great). We love hanging out, board games, reading, being outside, and we super hope our baby isn’t colic-y 🙂 We invest ourselves in family life, work, pro-life ministry and the local community. My husband works from home and I work in Bethesda, MD.
We live in a great neighborhood ~15 minutes from the JPII Institute, <1 mile from downtown Hyattsville which has some great restaurants, and ~30 minutes from downtown Washington, DC.
