We are a group of young professional women in our 20s-30s seeking a fourth housemate to fill an opening. The room is available from mid-January through the end of June 2026, with a possible option to extend the lease. Our spacious house is located in a quiet neighborhood with ample free parking, yard space, a lovely back deck and several common rooms. The home atmosphere is a mixture of quiet and socializing: we enjoy baking and reading and games, and we seek to cultivate a spirit of hospitality with communal dinners and social gatherings. The current tenants all work full-time, and we are seeking a female housemate who is either working full-time or in grad school.
Rent for the opening is $950/month plus utilities (approx. $100/month) and provides a private bedroom and a shared bathroom with 1 other housemate. No pets are permitted by the landlady. The house is located within a mile from the nearest metro station (on the Green/Yellow Lines) and within walking distance of the center of Hyattsville which holds several eateries, the local Catholic Church, several parks and bike trails.
