The 2020 McGivney Lecture Series by David L. Schindler, planned for March 30, April 1, and April 2, has been cancelled as a precautionary measure during the spread of the coronavirus.
The lectures will be rescheduled during the upcoming 2020-21 academic year and will be announced as soon as a new date is confirmed.
Dr. David L. Schindler, Edouard Cardinal Gagnon Professor of Fundamental Theology and Dean Emeritus of the John Paul II Institute, will present the 2020 McGivney Lecture Series, entitled "Modernity and the Gift of the Given: John Paul II’s 'Authentic Theology of Integral Human Liberation.'"
The lecture series will take place on March 30, April 1, and April 2, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. each night in Keane Auditorium within McGivney Hall.
- March 30: "The Primacy of God"
- April 1: "Truth and Freedom"
- April 2: "Integral Liberation"
Admission is free, but reservations are required.
