“Abortion and the Meaning of Life: Some Anthropological Implications of the Viability Standard”

Dr. David S. Crawford will present during a three-part lecture series examining the legal, philosophical, and social dimensions of “The Future of Roe v. Wade?: Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.”  The series is hosted by the Columbus School of Law’s Center for Law and the Human Person.

Second in the series, Dr. Crawford’s lecture is titled “Abortion and the Meaning of Life: Some Anthropological Implications of the Viability Standard.”  It will be on Thursday, March 3rd from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Columbus School of Law, Room 213.

The first lecture in the series was on February 2nd by Professor Joel Alicea, titled “Dobbs and the Future of Constitutional Interpretation.”

The final lecture of the series is on April 5th by Professor Helen Alvaré, titled “It’s More Complicated Than You Think: Abortion and Women’s Freedom.”
