January 21, 2011 — April 15, 2011
This special Spring Semester Graduate Course will consider the meaning of health and the nature of medicine in the light of their historical development, the Church's understanding of the human person, and the state of modern medicine. Special attention will be paid to the meaning of the body and human suffering and to the challenges faced by physicians and other health care workers in a contemporary setting.
