Medical Insurance
Medical insurance is required of all full-time domestic students and all full and part-time international students. Student health insurance is available to students enrolled at the John Paul II Institute through the Catholic University of America. Opportunities for enrollment are in January, May, and August.
The deadline for Fall 2011 is September 12, and coverage extends from August 14, 2011 to August 13, 2012. The policy is portable for domestic students who withdraw from the Insitute during the course of the year. For international students, the coverage ends when the student returns to his/her native country.
This health insurance policy does not include services at the Catholic University of America Student Health Service Office.
Whether by enrolling in the Aetna Student Health plan--provided via CUA--or another plan chosen by the student, all full-time domestic and international students and all part-time international students must submit proof of insurance no later than October 1 to Ms. Weber, Rm 312, 202-526-9697.
John Paul II Institute students may access the online signup for the CUA health insurance plan through this link: http://studentinsurance.cua.edu/
