Sara Deola

Adjunct Assistant Professor of Biomedical Science

Currently a Hematology Residency Fellow at the Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit of the Istituto Scientifico H. San Raffaele in Milan, Professor Deola recently completed fellowships at the University of Milan Bicocca and the National Institutes of Health.  She has also served as adjunct professor of medical oncology and histology at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele.  Her research has included gene marking, gene therapy, and immunotherapy in the treatment of cancer.  Professor Deola's work has been published in various peer-reviewed journals including Science and The Journal of Gene Medicine.
