Books
Each semester’s books may be purchased at Newman Book Store, located at 3329 8th St., N.E.; telephone: (202) 526-1036. Store hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Post Office
The Catholic University of America operates a Contract Postal Station of the Washington, D.C. Post Office, identified as Cardinal Station. The station is located on the ground floor of McMahon Hall. Postal hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with no Saturday hours. Telephone: (202) 319-5225.

Meals
The cafeteria at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is open for breakfast and lunch. Also, the C.U.A. cafe, located on the lower level of the University Center East, offers lunch and dinner on an a-la-carte basis. The cafe is open 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday.

Student Identification Cards
Student identification cards are available through the office of the Director of Admissions. These cards allow John Paul II Institute students access to the Dominican House of Studies Library and John K. Mullen Memorial Library at C.U.A., and entrance to some theaters and other events at a student rate. To receive your card, you must submit a one-inch square photo of yourself to the Director of Admissions.
